Nemhain

Nemhain started in 2006 with topmodel Amber Erlandsson and Adrain Erlandsson(Ex-Drummer van COF, At The Gates en The Haunted) and thanks to their first EP Blood Runs Free the recognition came quickly. They were Band of the Month by Rocksound Magazine and had already build up a firm fan base.

After that the producers of Anniversary of Brutality: The Misfits 30th Anniversary asked them to do a cover of the cult classic Die Die Die My Darling. Eventually after years of touring with bands as In Flames, Arch Enemy, Twisted Sister en Saxon, they decided to record their first real album called From The Ashes.

The album From The Ashes contains a dark form of rock ’n’ roll with a firm piece of Punk, Metal and even a little raw edge of Blues. The album has in total 12 tracks and starts of with the song From The Ashes that really comes of with a fast and tough intro that will leave you with an energetic feeling after the song is finished.

The song Second Skin starts real easy going but after that it kicks in really strong and fast, and besides that you also get to hear Peter Solving from The Haunted for some nice backing vocal for a bit more explosive vibe. There is no doubt that the other songs on this record are just as catchy as the rest with energetic guitars, quick bass lines and fast guitars.

Also the voice of Amber contains a rough style between K’s Choice and Guano Apes and that what makes it really fit in to the music! As I said the album contains 12 tracks and has a playing time for about 45 minutes and it’s definitely an album worth listening.
