Crazy Lixx

New Religion
Frontiers Records

Genre: Hard Rock

With there debut album Loud Minority from the year 2007 in the pocket follows the Swedish formation the path the chose on there new one New Religion. Crazy Lixx is one of the many bands from Sweden that are influenced by there famous brothers in arms in the eighties like Mötley Crue, Poison, Ratt etc, etc, there’s even talk about a – with the legendary New Wave Of British Heavy Metal in mind – New Wave Of Swedish Sleaze.

For those that really dig this style off music added with a bit Def Leppard sound is Crazy Lixx good news. On New Religion you’ll find twelve tracks, and after listening a couple off times there’s a sense from, he, where did I hear this before. But Crazy Lixx did it so damn good on New Religion that’s almost original. Even the lyrics fit like a glove, there’s a lot off rocking and rollin with tracks as Rock And a Hard Place, 21 ‘Til I Die, Blame It On Love or the unmistakable Lock Up Your Daughter.

It’s easy to sing along with it and my mind goes back to these days – in particular the song 21 ‘Till I Die, hahaha, music keeps me young – during the album. For those that are crazy about the Sleaze sound, Crazy Lixx is the perfect candidate. Rock On!
