The Musikmesse in Frankfurt am Main is the leading international trade fair for musical instruments, music software & computer hardware, sheet music and accessories and has been the most important meeting place of the musical-instrument industry for over 25 years.

On the four days of the fair, manufacturers and dealers, as well as professional, semi-professional and amateur musicians, come together in Frankfurt am Main every spring to find out about the latest products and innovations. Musikmesse 2008 set another new record with 1,652 exhibitors from 47 countries and around 78,500 visitors.

The Musikmesse is held parallel to Prolight + Sound – International Trade Fair for Event and Communication Technology, AV Production and Entertainment – which supplements and extends the comprehensive overview of the musical-instrument sector offered by the Musikmesse with products from the field of event technology. Holding the two fairs at the same time and place offers both exhibitors and trade visitors a variety of synergetic effects.

In 2009, the Musikmesse will expand the range of presentation facilities for exhibitors to include a Business Centre in Hall 6.1. There, exhibitors will be able to conduct discussions and business negotiations with dealers and trade visitors in a peaceful atmosphere. The Business Centre will be open solely to trade visitors and visitors who prior appointments.
