Rare Nederbeat singles and DI-RECT’s limousine:
30th successfull Mega Records & CD Exhibition

For years the two-annual Mega Records & CD Exhibition has been the place to be for musiclovers and – collectors. It has the broadest collections, expositions, book presentations, sign sessions etc. in the musicbusinesss. On 22 and 23 November this Exhibition will again be held, with this time a special exposition of the Museum Of Rock Art, a special vinyl corner and the Nederbeat record collection of wellknown DJ Dandy Dave.

The drumkit of Q-65 and the Puch of DI-RECT
Especially for this Exhib the Museum Or RockArt (based in Hoek van Holland) shows the most special items. On 400 m2 you’ll find the gold records of Golden Earring, DI-RECT’s limousine and the drumkit of The Hague based beat band Q-65, that was lost for so many years. You can also see many special clothes from famous Dutch artist, such as Anouk, Andy Tieleman and Jerney Kaagman. There are guitars from Jan Akkerman, Robbie van Leeuwen and many, many more items that have played an important role in the Dutch History of pop music.


Rare Nederbeat collection
Dandy Dave, old band member of garagebeat bands The Perverts and The Nederbietels, Nederpop DJ en ‘possessed’ collector of rare Nederbeat covers, exposes 250 special items from his collection. “I started to collect vinyl records at the begining of my muis career. My collection has grown into a watend one!”, Dandy Dave states.
All about vinyl
On the coming Mega Records & CD Exhibition will be a special vinyl corner. Thanks to the dance scene and popular DJ’s vinyl records, the good old LPs and Maxi Singles, started a revival. On the Exhibition is demonstrated how vonyl is produced and how you can maintain thiem for enldless listening pleasure. A first is a special designed machine that straightens LPs that were bended, and make them fit for playing again. So bring your old vinyl records with you, should they really be unrepairable, then they can be used as a cocktail plate or fruit bowl.

Spinvis and Johan go acoustic
Spinvis – who won the 2006 Pop Award - en the band Johan will stage live during the Instore Promotions Gigs and unplugged sessions organised by record label Excelsior.
