NAMM 2009 report – Rikki Rockett’s Drumworks

"If you plan on a long term music career, don't buy a short term drum set!"

These are the words of drummer Rikki Rockett, who besides rocking hundreds of thousands of fans over his 25 years behind the drums in Poison, has his own drum company Rockett Drum Works. Rikki was at this year's NAMM trade show, holding court at his company's booth over several days. Rikki was greeting fans and potential clients alike, showing off his eye-catching wares.

Rikki's drums are works of art in themselves to admire. The designs, finishes, and paint jobs are worth the price of admission alone just to look at. Rikki obviously takes great pride in his work and it shows in the detail of his final product.

Rockett Drum Works offers 100% American made drums, constructed at their facility in Southern California. His staff is made of drummers, and they play what they build and they stand by their product.

As Rikki says, "My goal is to offer something special to the player who wants something other than the typical "off the rack" drums. Something that makes a statement. Something that reflects you, the player. No matter if you are a rock, punk, jazz or a country artist, Rockett Drum Works has drums that will match your playing style."
