Published: 27 January 2009KISS' lead guitarist Tommy Thayer was on hand at the NAMM trade show to celebrate his signature amplifier. He greeted numerous rock and roll fans, signing posters and KISS memorabilia for them, as well as posing for pictures. His amplifiers were on display for the fans (and musicians alike) to see, and they do not disappoint.

Here is how Hughes & Kettner describe their product, the Duotone® Tommy Thayer Signature Edition:
’KISS guitarist Tommy Thayer found his amp of choice in the Hughes & Kettner Duotone. In fact, he was so enthused to chance upon an amp so good that he put his name on a Duotone Signature Series model. It now adorns the amp’s shining blue Plexiglas front panel, alongside his official KISS logo.
Adding a stylish cosmetic touch, the amp and the matching Signature Edition cabinet (CC 412 A30 SE) are decked out in a highest-quality faux croc leather covering.’
Besides being a rock star, Tommy is a great guy. He recently donated his royalties from the sale of the Tommy Thayer Signature Duotone Head from Hughes & Kettner to Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
